# Welcome DBG’s REU summer student, Alexander Cho!

June 29, 2010

Alexander Cho is a sophmore at Bunker Hill Community College, where he is currently focusing on a Biology Transfer Degree. At Harvard’s Disease Biophysics Group, he is working on encapsulating nanofibers into hydrogels to control the direction of the swelling, so it can be used as a scaffold for tissue engineering. He is working with Leila Deravi and Holly McIlwee. Thank you, Leila and Holly, for assisting Prof. Parker in mentoring Alex and best wishes to Alex’s continued success!
