Joshua Gershlak

Joshua Gershlak, PhD is a Research Associate in Dr. Parker’s lab. He holds a PhD (Worcester Polytechnic Institute), MS (Tufts University), and BS (Case Western Reserve University) all in biomedical engineering with focus in tissue engineering. Prior to joining the lab, Dr. Gershlak was a postdoctoral research fellow at the Center for Organ Engineering at Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School. He has extensive experience in cardiac tissue engineering, biofabrication, decellularization and helped pioneer the adaption of decellularization in plant tissues for use in humanized tissue engineering.
