Yongjun Jang, PhD is a Postdoctoral Researcher in Dr. Parker's lab. He received a PhD in Biomedical Engineering (Korea University, Korea), and a Bachelor of Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Medical Convergence Engineering from KU-KIST (Korea University, Korea). His research focuses on developing human-relevant in vitro cardiac models using hiPSC-derived cardiomyocytes, with expertise in bioreactor-based cell production and functional analysis of cardiac physiology in microphysiological systems. His work applies these platforms to cardiac disease modeling and therapeutic evaluation, bridging efforts across Harvard SEAS and Boston Children’s Hospital.
